Our club was formed in 1902 as ‘Ilkeston Arts, Camera and Field Club’  to ‘encourage and develop the fine arts, such as painting, sketching, photography, wood-carving, music, literature, and kindred subjects in the town and neighbourhood of Ilkeston, and to bring together all interested in such subjects for their mutual benefit and improvement by means of periodical meetings of the members’.

We are affiliated to the North & East Midlands Photographic Federation (N&EMPF) and through it to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB)
